I Believe You Have Something of Mine

This is my entery for the Flight Rising "Something About Dragons" contest.

Scene Background:

A cold crisp covers the region where dwells the Ice Warden dragon god. This land of snow and ice, so cold and desolate, a place so refractive and reflective of light as to repel shadows even on a moonlit night, joins but few so detested by the shadowbinder goddess. With the coming of twilight the shadow goddess finds her strength and enters the dwelling of the ice god.


"Stay your place, goddess of shadows, and move not from the light... Why have you entered my domain?"

"Test your mind and think behind, to a time of season like here in kind.
To the tangled wood, where my shadows bind, there something of mine, you did find.
I've left the wood so far behind to this forsaken place where dwell your kind.
For I believe you have something of mine... and I demand their return if you'd be so kind."


"Must you rhyme every word?... Oh.. and you are in no position to demand anything! I've not even studied these fine ancient relics of gaming... they will remain... And you shall go."
